Do I need to have a horse to join?
No, there are horseless projects and activities available! Some clubs can also help you find a horse that you can lease (either free or paid) to use and ride at the shows.

To become an Adult Volunteer you will need to complete the Volunteer Selection Process (VSP) The Volunteer Selection Process includes an application, national and state background checks, an interview set up by your local 4-H Program Coordinator, and online training modules. There is no charge to you as a volunteer for these background checks or the selection process.

New clubs need an adult leader who has gone through the Volunteer Selection Process (see above). Every club needs at least 5 kids coming from 2 different families. The last step is to contact your local 4- H office to get your club registered, and fill out the proper paperwork.
